While the food was absolutely amazing, I wasn't too fond of waiting an hour for it. It was my first time and while I know it has a huge reputation, I just wish I would've gotten there with my kids sooner. The pricing was good, tastes amazing, not really greasy, definitely your comfort burger spot.

Burger was greasy and waffle fried over cooked. I was looking forward to eating here but was disappointed. Had to ask for a straw for our drinks and ketchup for our fries.

Building, parking and other amenities are super basic but the BURGERS are so special. Home style simplicity is the hallmark here and the line proves the quality.

Wally's is the standard to which I measure all other burgers. Delicious every time!

Best burgers and French fries. I Drive 25 miles out of my way to get these awesome burgers! Totally worth the drive out. Employees are aways so kind and caring. I recommend Wallys to anyone.

Absolutely the best mom n pop burger joint I've ever been to. I've lived all over America and it is still my favorite burger place - even above Dairy King (though DK is a close 2nd), What-a-Burger, and 5 Guys. It is cash only with a very small diner atmosphere inside and limited outdoor space. That may be a turn off for some, but for me it's perfect - never too crowded. If you go, try their flavored syrups with Coke or Ski (a rainbow Ski is the local favorite which is a bit like a sweet tart).

About the same as in the last 55 years fast friendly service great hot hamburger on a grilled bun with very hot french fries and at fair price. You can count on the same thing ever time.

A legendary place to get a great burger, fries, chicken sandwich, shakes and such. I was in town for an electric vehicle event, and visited Wally's for the first time. I can honestly say I'll be back the next time I'm near Carlyle IL!

Can't say enough about Wally's. We drive 15 miles to go there. Would drive farther. Consistency is the key at Wally's, great service, great food and no matter how busy they are, you never wait a long time for your food. Food is always hot and fresh. Well worth the drive!! If you're from a neighboring community and wondering- "Is it as good as they say?" The answer is yes. Do it. Drive to Breese and get yourself a double cheeseburger, waffle fries and a Cherry Ski. The employees are polite and great at their jobs, the outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day, and the food is phenomenal- with a great price! Take the whole family now.

Great place to eat and great prices. It's just like a normal restaurant busy at lunch and dinner so there's a wait time, I suggest call ahead. There's only outdoor seating for public, but there is a private room for like event from what I learned. There is parking it's just fun to find a spot when it's busy. Over all you can't find another Wally's anywhere else.
